Hi,
I went bankrupt last december and next week is my auto discharge date, I was just wondering if anyone knows what happens? I haven't heard anything from my OR since my initial interview. Tbh i thought i would have more to do!! Should i have heard anything from my OR? Just getting a bit worried that I should have done something and I havent!

I'd take it as good news you haven't heard anything, they're obviously too busy to even be able to send out a pre-discharge IPOQ to check your surplus.:)
Once you are discharged though, make sure you print your record out from the IS website as it's the only proof you'll have unless you apply to the court for a Discharge Certificate (£70 unless you are eligible for fee remissions) or your OR is willing to send you a letter. Some OR will, some won't, some charge, some don't.
Then that's it until Feb/March next year when you can start your clean up.When I joined, I needed a name. The forum members gave one to me...I am INAN

That was my experience too and my AD was last month. Relief to get it out the way but aside from that no real change :beer:0 -

Your entry will change on the insolvency register at midnight on the 11/12th. Make sure you take a copy of the discharged entry if you can, if you can't write to your OR and ask him if he will be kind enough to send you a letter confirming discharge. if he won't and you can't take a copy of the entry then you will have to pay £70 for the court to give you a certificate, less if you are on benefits or low income. Then 3-4 months after discharge start your credit file clean up as per the sticky at the top of the board.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0
