in Cutting tax
Hi, I know as a non Tax payer, I do not need to pay tax on the interest earned on any savings. Does this have any ramifications for Tax Credit purposes or do I still need to declare anything above the £300 interest earned for Tax Credits?
We get WTC as a couple and my OH pays Tax.
Thanks.

You have to declare ALL your income, including the interest over £300, whether you pay tax or not. Your TC will be based on your household income, not on yours alone.
Hope that's helpful
