help

Hi

A friend of mine had a loan and remortgaged and paid off the loan in november. 2 weeks ago he recieved a call from TSB saying they had refunded PP twice once in the settlement figure and then by cheque. somone told me they had 28 days to reclaim any overpaid money but it has been 2 months. will he have to repay the money. he is really worried as he does not have it anymore.

Thanks

    Who knows.

How much was the cheque for?

It may be he can argue the PP refund was unfair in the first place and as he has acted in good faith and it is their error he might get away with it.

It may be that LloydsTSB haven't got around to chasing him yet though.
