Yes it is the VAX site and yes there are big discounts but if you want anything many of the items are already sold out.

I have just bought a lightweight vacuum to keep upstairs as having problem with the weight of the new Dyson I bought recently.

I've had an email from Vax today advertising 80% off sale with the code VAXSALE12 for Vax customers. So similar to the code in the OP.

Quite a lot has sold out but there is still stuff on there.

Just responding to a few who have queries..

The Pet models usually have a turbo brush added to them - air driven from the machine itself, fixes to either tube or hose or both. Allows for pet hair to be picked up against suction only tools. Ideal also for stairs even if you don't have pets. Also sometimes the HEPA filters have extra layers added to them if you have pets to keep the smell of the pet hair out of the room each time you vacuum.

Vax are notorious for clearances - this is because they have a big market with catalogue returns. I have a Vax Mach Air (orange basic model) - brilliant for small homes. Useless small hose and eventually bought a clip on stretch hose from Vax for more stretch. Best model out of the Air uprights is the Reach model and Total Care/Total model as you get a lot longer cord, extra long hose and pet hair tool. Pet model comes with mini pet hair tool (burgundy) and Orange model (basic) lacks the pet hair tool - both burgundy pet and orange models also lack longer cords.

Received my Vax Carpet washer today. Delivered by UPS to a neighbour since I was out.

Really pleased with it, I was looking at the Argos ones a couple of weeks ago and was going to buy from there. Glad I didn't!
