    From the Kaplan's website:

    Funding your course

You may be entitled to full or part-funded training when studying the AAT qualification through either a Classroom or Live Online course. The funding is available through the Apprenticeship scheme. To be eligible you must fulfil these basic requirements:

    • A UK resident living in England for the last three years
    • 16 years old or over
    • Not currently in full time education
    • Not currently receiving government funding
    • Not in possession of a level 4, or higher, qualification. This includes degrees and HNDs
    • Are working in an accounts related role for 30 hours or more per week

This means the candidate must be working and their employer must be willing to make them an apprentice. For someone who isnt working then this does qualify for first Level 2 or first Level 3 entitlement depending on prior qualifications.

Hi, I have been looking at a change of career and would like to do a AAT level 2 course for accountancy.
I have looked at all different ones online but was wondering if anyone had any recommendations?
Kaplan seems reasonable, I'm not necessarily looking to find a cheaper one but just want to make sure I'm not going to get ripped off!

Any advise would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!

I went through the sites of Kaplan's and Home Learning College and decided to go with the latter. My friends advised me for it and then also found out that they do not charge anything extra as book costs, postage fees or exams fees as well. That was swell! Read some reviews before you sign up for any college and make sure that you sign up with only the best. There are many service providers but except for 3-4 not everyone is well known. And, trust me, you do not want to do your certification from any tom, !!!!!! or harry college. They will just do no good for your career!
