My Supermarket website - slow since it was revamped?

I've tried to do my shopping list this afternoon on Mysupermarket.co.uk, but the new site seems to be REALLY sloooooow, to the point of being unusable.

I'm, using internet explorer 8, will try on Safari later to see if it's better, but how is everyone else finding it?
I try not to get too stressed out on the forum. I won't argue, i'll just leave a thread if you don't like what I say. :)

part of the reason I switched to using Chrome was because IE kept crashing whenever I used Mysupermarket. Haven't had any problems since even with the new site
It doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!

you need permission to post as a rep from a company

Well that's a nice welcome to someone who has come on here directly to be helpful and answer our questions, isn't it ? !!.

As a gesture of goodwill (and as an apology for your curt response) would you be able to tell Lior from whom he should seek this permission? I wouldn't know, I'm guessing he won't either.

I use chrome and firefox and never have a problem using the new site. I find that it's actually a bit faster than the old one.

should be in the T&C's, other reps of other firms are told the same and get told permission is needed. For all we know the poster could be anyone.
  • I first tried it in IE and the site wasn't working properly but when I switched to chrome it definitely worked better (I have since decided not to use IE anymore as that wasn't the only site I was having issues with). Loving the new site, health and beauty department with boots and superdrug was a welcome addition.

  • I have had to give up on it, it drove me mad. And that is using Firefox as Lior recommends. It's a shame as I was a regular user till it all changed.

No, I usually use it to make up my shopping list, because I can spot all the offers from the comfort of my desk, then print out the list (which it prints neatly sorted by section in the supermarket) and take that with me.

We have a Sainsbugs and Tesco close by us, and MySupermarket helps me decide which will get my money each week, based on who has most offers I will actually use.
When you print your list, it will actually split it between two supermarkets if you want, to give you the best savings. - I shudder at the thought of going to TWO supermarkets in the same weekend !!
