            The news on Friday was that the markets had turned on Belgium, and that the political parties (they have had no proper government for 18 months) needed to come up with an agreed plan before the markets re-open Monday morning.
 News channels seem to have gone quiet on this since. Does that mean that Belgium joins the line of those needing a rescue this week?0

 Yes Belgium can join the others in needing a rescue but other news is far worse so Belgium will not be on the front page any time soon.
 How will the fallout affect the UK as the cost of borrowing goes up, people are in a false sense of security.
 People are now happier borrowing £1.3m at 3% than they were half a million at 8%, yet Armageddon could be around the corner.
 PS Its not a question of if the Euro has a currency crisis its now a question of when. Could be soon or they could extend and pretend a little longer which will only make the problem worse. The best place to be in a transition through a currency crisis is gold and silver then wait till things settle down and gold and silver revalue then change them back into whatever the new currency or money system is after the crash.0

            I read a while back that if any of the countries were going to go out of the Euro then around a bank holiday such as Christmas would be the best time for them, because they would have a couple of days while everything was shut to organize the transfer over to a new currency before businesses reopened. I can't remember where I read it and it was probably just another of the many rumours anyway, but having said that it was one that did seem to make sense.
