Amazon Codes for the USA Amazon.com? Rebates?

I wanted to buy a digital camera for a relative in the USA.
I tried VIPCamera and they seem like scamsters so I was going to order from Amazon.com in the USA.
Are there any rebate schemes or vouchers I can use for this?
I was going to use a no comission CCard for the transaction so that should help with the $/£ conversion loading.
Any tips ideas welcome. I was after a 4 or 5 MP Canon Ixus type camera.
It was for a b'day in January but my first order never showed up!
