Pay slips

Is anyone else annoyed when the common thing now is to give you pay slips which dont list your hours per week or even hours in total etc but just give a income figure making it almost impossible to check if you have been credited for the correct hours/rate? As a xmas temp a breakdown is CRUCIAL in order to ascertain if management have credited me for all hours I have worked ( this changes from week to week and in previous xmas temp roles such as last years has included overtime)Personally I keep scrupulous records of dates, hours and break times in order to make sure i get every penny I am owed. Is there any way I can insist on a break down at least for say like week X 15 hrs week Y 21.5 hrs week Z 28 hours etc??

If you are keeping scrupulous records, have your own calculations of your gross pay been different from that paid? If there was a discreptancy no doubt you followed it up with your employer. If they put on your payslip the number of hours for which they were paying and you didn't agree, you would still have to take it up with them. No difference really.
However I don't know that for people who work variable hours it is common to receive payslips without including the basis for the gross pay.0 -
if you know your hourly rate just divide that into the amount before deductions to see if that works out to the hours you have workedIs anyone else annoyed when the common thing now is to give you pay slips which dont list your hours per week or even hours in total etc but just give a income figure making it almost impossible to check if you have been credited for the correct hours/rate? IE: £1820 / £13 per hour = 140 hours0
