£15 4ft Nordman Fir Trees at ASDA

I was amazed to buy a 4ft potted Nordman Fir tree (it has soft pine needles!) at ASDA for £15 yesterday. I've popped it in my garden until I'm ready to bring it inside in December. Hopefully, these trees should be available in most larger stores.

Made me feel festive all day! And if I can keep it alive, I'll be able to use it again next year and for many years to come!

I think you will get what you pay for at Asda. It is probably a sawn off tree stuffed in a pot. If it is pot grown then you can plant it out after Xmas and it will say it on the label and be rooted in the pot.

Actually, they are pot grown and are very good quality. This year will be the 4th year running that we have had a real tree from Asda and they are a bargain. Hardly drop any needles if you keep it regularly watered. They go very quickly though, don't expect for any to be left by the weekend. Our local store only had 6 left...
