Settlement Figures?

Hello,

I have 4 debts, all totally under or around £1000 and since I got a pay rise at work, after Christmas I was going to write to my debtors and start asking for settlement figures (one a month/ maybe one every two months).

What sort of discount can I expect, or will it vary massively between creditors? I have one at £1200 with Lloyds TSB who have already written to me offering 20% off spread out over 3 months, but I have one with Egg and one with Barclays both at £600 and then another with Lloyds for £900, will I get much off those?

I really want 2012 to be the year I make a dent in my debt and try to get a lot sorted and closed down.

I also have three "biggies" one at 8k (Capital one), one at 6k (Lloyds again) and one at 5k (MBNA). (I went crazy with credit cards when I was younger!) - what sort of settlement would they be open too? Would I be able to offer them a payment of £300 for say five months and then close the debt or is that not likely to happen?

Many thanks,
Sleepy Kitteh
