Working from home -scam?

I have just read an advert about a scheme which was supposedly featured on channel 4 etc, where if you only have basic typing skills you can earn £257 per day. Now I would love to work from home especially with that sort of pay coming in but it seems to be a scam as on the 2nd page you have to put your credit card details in and the company charge less than £2.00 for sending the pack out. Surely though it is a big no-no to enter card details for this sort of thing? Does anyone have any positive experience with this kind of scheme? The advert shows lots of people holding up their wages in cheque form (or check, American spelling) but I don't think its right, too good to be true etc!

You don't have to say anymore - it's a scam. Think logically about this, why would any company pay £257 a day (which is a £67,000 annual salary) for someone with basic typing skills? In the currently economic climate, you can with easy get someone with far higher qualifications and experience for the minimum wage or little more.0 -
This is obviously a scam: unfortunately almost all such 'opportunities' are.
The amount of money mentioned is the main giveaway. Anything that has people holding up cheques or wads of cash is a scam.
You know deep down inside that it can't possibly be genuine.Who having known the diamond will concern himself with glass?

If it seems too good to be true, then it usually is.
And if it was really this easy for anyone with basic skills to make this type of money the whole country would be doing it.
Save your £2. All these little £2s for hundreds of desperate people will all add up to a nice profit for the scammer. Some will see the £2 as a small risk worth taking but it is better in your pocket than a scammers.0 -
