Mortgage Advice: Credit History

I am looking to apply for a mortgage within the next few months with my partner. We have 30K deposit and will be looking to borrow 170K
She has perfect credit history yet I have some late payments back in 2008.

02 - 1 Late Payment
Vodafone- 3 Late Payment
Barclaycard - 2 late payments (seperate)

All my credit cards and loans are now clear and no payments have been missed since 2008.

I am 24 and earn 27K basic + bonus
Partner is 22 and earns 25K

Will these late payments in 2008 ruin my chances of obtaining a mortgage?

At 85% lenders are picky, but assuming everything has been perfect since 2008, if over 3 years you should be ok, just make sure you are on the VR, and I would maintain a credit card each, but make sure you have a direct debit set up to repay in full.
