Hi guys
In need of a little advice have tried to offer pdp a payment plan which they refused and said they will not accept unless we use a professional body so we asked for it to be passed to a dca so that we could deal with them instead however CRS have told us they will only have the file for thirty days then they have to pass it back so it can be reffered for a ccj.
Any of you know where we stand with this?
Thanks in advance for any help.

I worked for this pile of rubbish company last year...
Credit Resource Solutions.
Basically with payday loans, you sign up for a short period loan, therefore no payment plans can be set up on them, after 34 days they send them back (like !!!! they ever stick to the 34days, never seen stuff so lacking in structure follow through) The only payment plan they set up is say take half at the beginning of the month and then half at the very end of the 34days.
When it goes back my guess is that they just pass it to another debt collection agency that make similar baseless threats.
Any advice then pm me, I'm on all day nowadays this being the only forum I get on at work, however I tend to avoid the debt place as I'm badly in it myselfPoverty 2012 - F**K My low wage!0 -
Credit Resource Solutions in Halifax sent my wife three letters and the last one threatened her with a ccj if she didn't pay.
She ignored the letter and they sent it back to Lowell's just like the three other companies who dealt with the same debt for the past five years.I'm not poor i'm just skint0 -
Thing is we don't want to avoid paying it and five other PD companies have accepted our offers we knew one would be a pain in the !!!! but I don't want the OH to get a CCJ0

I hated the company I worked for but do you not think they are right on thsi occassion. You signed up for a short term loan, how vast did your circumstances change within 34 days!? (especially as you have just confirmed that you had 5 other pay day loans) It appears you took the loan out knowing fine well you wouldn't pay back....Poverty 2012 - F**K My low wage!0 -
It was my OH who took out the loan then she was quite ill and had to stay off work for three weeks she doesn't get company sick pay we were able to cope with the PD loans but unable to pay them off then obviously her being off just finally tipped the scale and we had nowhere near enough.0

I also think in many ways that saying I knew fine well we weren't going to pay it back is a bit of an insult, not many people do take out loans etc because they are not going to pay them back. They take them out to cover a shortfall then get stuck into the trap. We could hide from this not own up to it and try not to pay it back but what's the point we have learnt from our mistakes instead.0

Look at it from my point of view, I'm stupidly in massive debt and I've worked for a debt collection company, I see both sides of the coin.
The trap with payday loans is constantly being in a cycle, not not paying them back.
It's a short term loan, it clearly states that no payment arrangements will be made, they're providing a service (quite a good service for some people I must say, although wouldn't dream of using them myself as I'd point blank know fine well I have no intention of paying back)
If I were you, make a payment of what you can, then tell them they can send it back to client, you've made a payment, no ccj will happen.Poverty 2012 - F**K My low wage!0 -
Ok thanks I am hoping we can pay this one off soon as I get a bonus from work and I'm selling a few things on eBay as they are clearly gonna be pains over this. I understand your point as I do see it from there side too but rather then spending more of there time and effort passing me from pillow to post surely it would be easier to attempt to sort it out. Never mind though and thanks for your help.0

Can you imagine how many people say the same thing daily? That would be a very costly thing for such a small company to deal with and therefore no one can really be treat as an individual.
It's system driven so letters come automatically and don't exactly cost much, there is also no effot partaken as you are just another person on the dialling list, it's either that or the agents sit there with nothing to do.
Was a very poor job, I definitely struggle to work for such cowboy type companies, no structure no training, no knowledge, no compliance.
Glad I did it though as it's just more experience in my experience ladder of 30 odd jobs in 9 yearsPoverty 2012 - F**K My low wage!0 -
This is true and I suppose without people like us some people would be out of a job
