how do i find out about claiming for laundry of uniforms, and reclaiming for shoes bo

i know there is something regarding people in the health profession along with a few other that can reclaim expenses of laundering your own uniform and buying tights and shoes but can not find the original forum on here, can any one help me with this

i don't know anything about buying tights and shoes but if you launder your own uniform then you need to ring your local tax office and tell them. They will ask you to send in a letter stating that you launder your uniforms yourself and they'll adjust your tax code accordingly. its only around 90 quid a year or something that you get but better in your pocket than theirs.0
