Career training advice

Hi

After a lot of thought about what I want to do next after redundancy. I have decided that I would like to train as a Electrical design engineer.

So I've come on here for any advice that anyone might be able to give me.
What's the best courses to take?
Can I do evening courses or is it full time?

Any advice that anyone could give me would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks

  • Best people to speak to would be Next Step. Go to either your local Jobcentre Plus or FE College and they will be able to refer you or book an appointment with the advisor. You can Google for your local office. They give really good, free advice on training & careers, we use them all the time.
  • Are you already an electrician?

Cheers for all the advice. Keep it coming :)

I'm not an electrician, but as I hopefully have the opportunity to retrain this is something I'd like to do.
