went to my local one today and got:
sonetti jeans £3 (originally£55)
Hurley jeans £2 (originally£52)
702 vegas jeans £2 (originally £50)
Punky Fish skirt 70p
MoMade Bra 50p (allegedly originally£46.00,never heard of the brand myself,but it looks good)

I also saw(but could not think of anyone to buy them for)
Bench Jacket,thin £3
Ralph Lauren Jacket £7
some realy nice looking bags for a couple of quid
pink and white striped shirt(I think Ben Sherman,with the target thing on?)£2
also had some hooch,reef,playboy,kickers,roxy etc all mostly at £1,£2,£3 some bits were 50p/70p


I know Tkmaxx are normally cheap(I shop there all the time)but this sale was MEGA cheap

after reading this thread yesterday i went to have a look at tk maxx today and you were right... so many bargains.. I know that prices are always lower but this was VERY low most of the things were 1, 2 or 3 pounds.. i ended up with a trolley (never happened before there!).. i got trousers, jackets, cardigans for DD, DH and myself.(ELLE, ralph lauren, barbie, disney etc) about 5 bags later and only 35pounds.. so thanks.. I asked the cashier and she says that twice a year, end of winter and end of summer they put their clearance items very reduced and they reduce them every day a bit more.. until saturday where things can go down as much as 20p... of course not sure if anything will be left by then...anyway thanks to OP.. i hadn't bought anything (clothes wise) for ages and it felt good especially at that price...

Thanks for the heads up on this! have just got home from Banbury store and although there isn't alot left at all now in any dept I bought :

Tommy Halflinger jeans £2 (£25 - and I put back the pair marked at £3, lol)
2x leather photo albums £2 (£14.99 each)
Scriba 100% pure wool cardigan £3 (£39.99)
Bella Moda blouse £3 (£16.99)

I'm especially chuffed with the cardigan as I nearly bought this a week or 2 ago at a much higher price!

Swansea store in Morfa retail Park always has a clearance section. Much more organised than Swansea city centre store and Carmarthen store always looks like a jumble sale.

A member of staff told me that once any stock has been there 6 weeks, they start to reduce price. And continue to reduce prices the longer it's there.

If any stock has been there that long then it's probably not worth buying anyway!

I was at the Phoenix today nothing for the blokes and a rabble of ladies around the remnants of the ladies clearance sale.

My lasting thought on leaving was the the stuff on the blokes section anyway was starting to look expensive....are TKMaxx starting to lift their prices?

Don't seem to be many real bargains now!!

If you have 2 pairs the same, take it to the checkout, and ask" will this (£3) be the same price as this(£2)? They usually give you it for the cheaper price.

I love TK Maxx. Amongst other things I got some tights from £12 to £0.70. DKNY jumper for mum £110 to £5.
