Default notices and Confusion!

Afternoon all,

Hope you are all ok?

Hopefully someone further down the line, or who has knowledge of The Halifax and Blair, Oliver and Scott can help.

I have been on a DMP with the CCCS for 19 months now, and Halifax were still charging interest - reduced, but meaning my balances were not really reducing for the Halifax accounts. I sent yet another letter, thinking nothing would come of it, and Lo and behold I get a letter saying interest and charges would be suspened for the life of the balance on both cards (CC1 -£5.5k balance - £89 going from CCCS each month, CC2 £2.5k balance - £39 going from CCCS each month) - but that default notices would be issued for both cards, and after 28 day period accounts would be passed to recoveries.

OK, so its not the default notice that freaks me out so much - I had one of these last year from Natwest CC, and many other accounts marked AP on credit file - I am done with credit anway when this is paid off - I just wondered:
1. Will the arrangement with Halifax just continue with BOS - will they contact CCCS like Natwest did when they passed to TRioton? I had no knowledge till I signed into my DMP online.?
2. One of the default notices is due to expire when I will be away for work so not contactable for a week - will BOS expect to hear from me in the first week?
3. When I had the default from the Natwest - the lady there said I didn't need to ring to tell them I wouldnt be paying before the time, just to let the 28 days go by. The man at the Halifax said the same. However, CCCS website says I should call them.
4. also, do i need to let CCCS know, or wait until/if I need to tell them BOS details?

Sorry for all questions, its been ticking along smoothly. on the plus side though - now my balances will start reducing properly!

Thanks for any assistance.
