You don't live in NE England by any chance? Ihave friends there and their local Indian restuarant serves chips with the curry & rice. It's what the locals expect.

Mostly English but I also like Chinese and Italian. I can't eat spicy food so don't eat Indian or Mexican. The Chinese we like to go to is a buffet style one and they serve chips, chicken nuggets and hash browns as well as a good range of the Chinese dishes.
