    I had to fight for mine. The builder didn't think we needed it.
    And what exactly do builders know about domestic management? :p

    Oh I do envy you, we used to have a pantry and it was fabulous :D

    In general I just keep a reasonable stock of the dried and tinned food that we use the most or that has been on too good an offer to pass over. I always ensure that we have plenty of herbs and spices as well as oils and stock cubes etc. All the wee bits and pieces I need to make meals easily.

    Lol...we have such a small kitchen we had to take some shelfs out so we could put our tall larder fridge in there. On the remaining shelfs we have cereals, tins eg tinned toms, baked beans & spaghetti, tuna, sweetcorn, custard powder, bistow powder, jams, pickles, chutneys vinegar, fish paste, tomato puree, cooking things eg flours, baking powder, cocoa, cake cases, sprinkles, olive oil, salt etc etc etc

    Considering we have such a large fridge in there, i didn't realise how much we still manage to pack things in.
