    No, because geneer disappears and you appear, then vice versa ....... I'm just beginning to realise that this is common on this site.

    Personally I am proud of my MrRee account and certainly (unlike you) wouldn't have any need to change names to satisfy some weird need to have ones views accepted ......... but you swap away.

    I think our (lecturers) pay rise was only 0.2% I could be wrong it was so insignificant I've probably forgotten the actual figure, I did get a spine rise (experience) of 2.6% but now that I have reached the top scale there will not be any more of those unless I'm propmoted, which is unlikely because I am happy in my current role and I'm not really motivated by any additional salary.

    this goes to the point i was trying to make in that rubbish thread i created. house prices may be down in "real terms" but if pay is also down in "real terms", then, in reality (i.e. the real, "real terms"), houses are not getting cheaper.
