e-Careers Online Course on Sage Line 50 - Worth It?

I'm thinking about taking a Sage 50 course in order to improve my chances of getting a job (eg in a bank, office, etc).

e-Careers are offering a 20 hour course on Group on for £59. Are they a good course provider???

Is Sage Line 50 the most up to date version of the software?

I'm sure it's probably a half-decent course, and it will probably improve your employment opportunities by about 0.005%.

If you've got £59 burning a hole in your pocket then go for it, but the certificate you get probably won't hold much credibility with employers.

I'm interested in learning how to use the software, not impressing employers with a certificate.

It's only worth it if the company you want to work for uses Sage, not all do.

Yes, I understand that. My point was that it's no replacement for using the software in an office environment, and that you're basically paying for a certificate that said you messed about with Sage for a few hours.

You also won't be using Sage, you'll be using a simplified online version.

Did you do the e-careers course in the end? If so, how was it? The same offer is available again through Wowcher, and i'm wondering whether to go for it.

I didn't do the course in the end.

Good luck and let us know how it goes.
