  • hi - in a moment of desperation after burning condensed milk - once again - tying to turn it into caramel -
threw the second tin in the slow cooker worked brilliantly - fantastic extra filling for apple pie and apple pancakes and ice cream - Mmmmm
It went through a stage in the middle of smelling quite odd but was really lovely after several hours
told a friend feelling quite proud of myself for my inventivness - and she pointed out I could have put it in the tin in hot water in the slow cooker and it wouldnt have boiled dry and I wouldnt have had to scrub the pot out afterwards :o
    cant win !
