National Hunter only stores information that applicants have given to financial organisations.

How many rooms does the property have?
If it has two or more rooms could you keep a room for yourself and take in a lodger/lodgers in the short term? Under the rent a room scheme you can get up to £4,250 per year tax free. Any money over this amount would still need to be taxed. The property would still have to be officially classed as your main home but you would also still have access to it of you wanted to go back to the area to visit friends family etc.
Of course you wouldn't get the same return as you would renting the whole property but you would probably be able to cover your costs.0
