undercharged. Please help!

Ok so I know being undercharged isn't usually a problem. Infact quite the opposite. But today I bought some toys from Scope, the charity shop. The assistant, bless her, was having problems with the till and ended up undercharging me. I didn't notice because my toddler was playing up.

I now feel awful, should i make a donation for the difference or go back and explain? I feel HORRIBLE!!!

To be honest, I think I would go back and explain.

The lady maybe realised her mistake after you had gone or her till will be out and she may be calling you names from a thief to a beggar.

Nice role model for your child too.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.

No reason to feel bad (yet ;)) as you did not notice the mistake, now you have and want to put it right. All reasons to feel good about yourself and your integrity, as you want to put things right.

If this was the likes of Tesco, I’d say don’t bother, but this is a charity that have done nothing wrong, and most the opposite. Next time you’re around, pop in and sort it out (As I did the other morning, as I eat most mornings in the cafe next door to a shop!)

Nice to see this world isn’t completely influenced by greed of few (My company helped to raise over £25m for UNICEF last year as part of an international contract, before anyone sees my other posts and says anything)

  • Well I have been in today and gave them £1 for the item and £1 extra donation. They were thrilled.

Ever since I have had horrible bad luck though :'(
