Wednesday 23rd November What Small DFW Things Will You Do Today??!!

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free :money:
Examples could be hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.:D
Morning all!
Today I will:
Check banks
Check CC
Check Paypal
Check TCB
Give Ebay parcels to OH to post today
Update MS Money
Drive economically to work and back
Breakfast/lunch/tea from stores - must go freezer diving and see what's in there...
Update calorie counter
List AAT books on Ebay - passed exam, yippee!
Read MSE newsletter!
2lts water
NSD
Work hard!
LaE - hope you had good nes on the house yesterday!
Tehbeag & Lemmings - hope you're feeling better!
Natlie - was that the energy monitor from a couple of weeks ago? Will eagerly await mine - they came quickly!
Have a great day everyone!

- exchanged emails with new roommate, thank goodness! She'll move in on Sunday

Morning everyone. Just found out that my Uncle (my dad's eldest brother) died earlier this month. He lived in Canada and I only ever saw him once when I was about 4, but its still sad.
Aiming for a NSD today, apart from the meals that I can claim back on expenses. Checked online banking, still looking very grim. Roll on pay day on Friday!
Planning to contact mortgage company today. My fixed rate deal comes to an end in January, so need to discuss my options. Also need to submit my gas and electric meter readings to British Gas.
Other than that, its just the usual stuff.
Have a great day everyone.Debt free since December 2015. It can be done0 -

Sorry to hear that, Karb. Something similar last week in my family - my dad's brothers wife passed away, just a few weeks after we found out she had cancer. I hadnt seen her since I was a teenager but it still sad - it also happened on the day of my granddad's memorial, so I felt bad for my dad going through all this while I'm so far from home.
