I'm sure Tesco have Basmati rice (not Tilda) at £7 (5kg) or 2 for £10 (£5 each).

Yep, they do indeed, saw it last night. It's the Kohinoor Gold stuff, 5kg bags. The Tesco Finest is also down to £6 for 5kg.

No, one says 'Tesco' on the packet and the other says 'Tilda'. The shareholders in Tilda will, however be eternally grateful to you for thinking otherwise.

Tilda is a lot different, I agree. I ordered this big bag of Tilda too, it came on Thursday afternoon

Will have to agree to disagree on that one Antrobus.
I do use As*a basmati when I am on an economy drive, but will buy Tilda when on offer, and the difference is apparent to me.

When I cook the Tilda the kids around our street can be seen sniffing the air saying "what is that great smell" - (they think its popcorn !)
