Transferring into NHS pension scheme

Hello, I am a student nurse who will qualify in September. I have just joined the NHS pension scheme as I have signed up for the NHSP Nursing Bank ( part time shifts as a health care support worker to earn some petrol money ).

I have a pension from my previous career currently valued at £57,000 (value as of now).

I will be 40 years old when I qualify and start my career as a Nurse proper, does anyone know if it is worth transferring my current pension into the NHS scheme and, if so, what additional years contributions it may give me ?

Apologies if it's a dumb question - never had to think about pensions before and I am a bit confused really....

Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks, Mark.
