    Afternoon all

Got to watch the Cutting Edge programme on Thursday night, its about saving money etc and includes an article on a woman, a midwife who uses coupons to get her £50 shopping bill down to £5.

    Wonder if she's a mse'er.

Morning all - beautiful one it is too. Not sure that I ought to be spending any of it in a supermarket, but I will ....

The Sainsbury Brand Match is still working well using coupons. I am now in a pleasant loop where I spend approx £2-£3 each week after vouchers/Brand Match coupons and get back another BM voucher for more than I have spent and a £2 wys £20 coupon as well. This week also got a triple points on your next shop voucher as an added bonus. I'm sure they will draw it in soon.

5 Saclas this week (£1.99 S, £1.64 A), 2 packs Walls Twisters (£3.98 S, £3 A - we all love these), Honey Shreddies (£2.08 S, £1.50 A), Surf Powder 25 wash 2kg (£5 S, £3 A). £11.50 in vouchers off the original £21.xx spend, plus last weeks BM voucher and £2 wys. Very sad that I have almost run out of Unilever coupons as these have been excellent.

In theory if your S store Ok to accept both vouchers per jar (mine is), you could get eg 10 Saclas plus say a pint of milk. Pay just over £5 using both vouchers and less if you have a wys coupon, get £4 back under Brand Match. Don't think I will ever need that much pesto, but it's just an example of how the S promotion can really work well as I know a lot of people have discounted it as a bit rubbish but I like it.

Is this correct or is there a way to use the Tassimo pods without a machine, using just a kettle?

No point in me getting something I won't use, but if you can somehow use them with a kettle it's worth it, thanks!:)

I tried scooping it out and using it with a kettle like normal hot chocolate - it did not taste good !! :cheesy:
