Morning Everyone! Bright and sunny here this morning :)

Can finally type properly as have a new keyboard on my lappie. We had lost two thirds of the keys when DD1 toppled off a chair and sat on it!!
We've been managing with it for about 4 months after Dell told me a new keyboard wasn't available as the lappie was too old but got a brand new one for £12 from ebay :)

Got £18 worth of lovely stocking fillers for free yesterday. Our local New Look had been closed for refurbishment and at their grand reopening the first 100 customers got a goodie bag - got a lovely scarf, belt and purse :j:j

Just been for my first ever mammogram - not as uncomfortable as I'd been lead to believe

  • Good Morning everyone :hello:

went shopping with my mum on wednesday and seen a halogen oven for £20 and said i was going to buy it and my mum said she would get it for me for xmas, so went down town with my dad yesterday and brought one as i dont have a car and i did not want to carry it home on the bus. i just need to find a cheap single plate induction hob now as mine has broke and i hate useing the one on the small oven and as i have the halogen oven now i want to get rid of my small oven.
  • Oh dear Myalphabetgirls sounds like you need a really big comforting hug (((((huggs))))). That has always been my fear when handing over big APG's if the amount is above or near what you ended up paying as you used a previous APG towards payment, because of the spending £40 promo we are all probably getting larger APG well I have been :D

I must have been lucky with my Tassimo I did put the code in the box waiting to just click enter as soon as the pc turned 10 might have helped

Great news! ASDA are cheapest. However, ASDA are not 10% cheaper than Tesco, Sainsbury's, Morrisons and Waitrose, on your comparable grocery shopping. As such you are entitled to a voucher for £0.21.

Happened to me too. In fact well and truly p*d off - I had 21 packs in shed destined for booty this weekend so I opened one pack to find where code was then made tiny slit in all other packs just to note code. I then spent ages writing them all down - ready for kick off at 10am! I was on there about 30 secs after 10am with my first code and like you they were all gone!

I have written a snotty email to tassimo telling them their secret garden is carp and that they've wasted my precious time duping me into a comp that you had no chance of winning. I await their reply!

Also had sent snotty email to Asda (was accused of having a fake apg  - just because my spend (after mocs & apgs) was not much more than the apg I had gained). I spent around £26 but got £22 back in apg (chocolates mostly). Stupid cowbag SA wouldn't process it saying it must surely be a fake in front of a full queue of irritated christmas shoppers! I asked for a tannoyed apology after I was proved right, but she declined! I am beyond enraged!

Pillocks! Whole thing was hideous beyond belief! Aaaaaarrrrrrrggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

Whats more - an online order to Disney store was promised delivery yesterday - never came. Rang them up this morning to be told it had been delivered and was signed for - at 10.40pm last night! They've opened a dispute for me as we have not taken delivery nor signed for anything. checked correct address, yes, and he confirmed the signature was our surname so something very amiss here.

Up until this I had a smidge of festivity welling in my soul - Christmas is bl**dy hard for me lately - now this has knocked any sense of bon amie right out of me. Note to self - must womble my christmas mojo. Have two other very excited daughters - one has just got engaged and has new job lined up for new year - Sales developer for Unilever! hopefully lots of freebies for mummy bear and 7.5 year old who is very christmas friendly. Can never be the same without my grown up baby girl. x

I am glad my Asda's are decent, cos all my APG's are large amounts and with using large Apg's to pay a lot more than my spend. I have one for £46 and the cash I paid was about £14 to get it:eek::eek: Most of the big stores now have someone doing apg's at the front so it is very easy for them to check to see if they are legit. I think I would have asked for the manager and made a formal complaint instore about her as well. It would be hard for her to deny it with the other customers around still;)

When your daughter gets established at Unilever she could put forward an "idea", more coupons for free stuff. We need another free dove deodrant coupon;)
Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)

    Morning everyone,

Our Avon comp prize has just arrived...really cute giraffe and xmas bits too (more than I expected). I was pre-warned that the clothes all came in one size and that some babies might have already outgrown them :eek: Luckily for me 9-12 months is the right size ;)
