Keratin Brazillian Blow dry shampoo

Hi

I am due to try this treatment for the first time and have been advised to use Sulphate and Sodium free shampoo. Any ideas on the best value (I don't mind paying a bit extra for something that doesn't smell disgusting!). Thanks

  • My daughter had this treatment in September, her hair is still looking lovely, glossy and straight. She bought Naked brand shampoo n conditioner from Superdrug, I think its sold in Boots too, it was the only sulphate free type she could find, and was on special offer at the time, buy 2 get 1 free I think. She got Naked Volume, Naked Renew, weightless conditioner, body strengthening shampoo and regenerating shampoo. They have worked fine with the treatment.

Organix is good, £7 a bottle from Boots - although wait until it's on multibuy.

Many of the treatments in salons give you a free bottle of shampoo with the treatment. I have had a few different brands of the treatment done and have always been given a full size bottle of shampoo.
If you always do what you have always done, you will always get what you always got!
  • Did the salon not recommend a specific brand or type for you to use?

You can buy the shampoo at the salon but it will be expensive! I second the vote for Naked. They definitely sell it in Boots, shampoo and conditioner and they're about £5 each but often on offer. MUCH cheaper than the salon versions!

Just popped back to say I went into Boots today to stock up on Naked shampoo but it wasn't on offer so I looked around and Organix have a Brazilian Keratin Therapy shampoo and conditioner (plus serum and a spray I think), all on offer at 2 for £8.00.

Not tried them yet but picked up a couple, so fingers crossed!

Aww that's annoying, I just stocked up on those less than a week ago. Typical!

Are they good? I am going to use mine today for the first time! Finger crossed, but I'm hopeful!

Yes, at least I think so. I have tried quite a few different ones now, including more expensive ones like Tigi S-Factor, but these Organix ones have been really good and I think are fantastic value.

Have recently discovered the Organix Moroccan Oil variety, love that!
