Bah... was hoping for the minced steak but ours is only doing the bog standard mince at £1.09p. Not sure about that now as I hate fatty mince.

Just checked mine and "cheap" mince and NOT steak mince!! Has this changed, I'm sure I saw steak mince the other night??
Not be bothering with that - more chocolate then.

Am I right in saying that I will have to wait until Monday 5th to get one? I live quite a long drive from my nearest Lidl, is there an easy way to find out if the store has them in stock before I make the journey?

There's not much in the way of healthy eating items on there - I guess everyone is stocking up on junk in time for Christmas! I'll pass on the 17p chocolate, yuk! Give me a bar of finest belgian 75% dark chocolate any day!

Lidl are good for general pricing on fruit and veg though.

Give their customer services a ring, they will put you through to your local store.

Amd me................but at 17p per 100g bar, this is probably the best chocolate deal you will find anywhere in the UK this weekend. Of all the "cheapies", I find this the best - very smooth. Ideal for cooking also and cheaper and better than cooking chocolate.

I'll have yours if you don't want any. Bring it on.
