Mackenzie Hall Settlement - No Response

Hi All
I was made redundant a couple of years ago which left me struggling financially and debts that I was managing spiralled which meant I started to miss payments etc and went into default on the majority of my debts. However since then I have started working again and also taken on a second job to help manage my finances and try and get back on top of things. I am currently in a DMP with Payplan who have been ok but not great (sending late payments at times and causing further issues).
However I have now decided that I am going to attempt to clear 1 debt per month moving forward I have managed to clear 2 debts over the last 2 months with Next and Provident (direct). However I now want to tackle Mackenzie Hall - this company are the worst company and continue to chase me weekly even though I am in a DMP. I have recently emailed them a full and final settlement offer which I have had no response to whatsoever, so I am wondering whether to both trying them again or just to make an offer to another of my creditors. I have read so many bad reports about them on here - so any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

There is no clear cut answer on this. It may be that they have decided that you are good for all of the money, so they are better off waiting for you to pay it off the hard way.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. They know that I am still struggling as they have had income and expenditure. I have been trying to get back a float really. It is not a massive debt I owe them £398 which I dont just have to pay it off - I wish I did just to get them off my back. Unsure whether to give them another nudge as I really want to try and clear as much debt as possible.

Be worth ignoring Muck Hall completely. They're not known as the fag-end of the collection industry for nothing,
If they ignore correspondence, that's their problem.0 -
Well thats what I thought too

My first thoughts with any MH debt are:
- Is this my debt?
- Is it Statute Barred? i.e. was there ever a period of 6 years when I made no payment or acknowledgement in writing?
- If a Consumer Credit Act debt, did I ever sign an agreement? Was it valid? Could MH produce a copy if challenged under S77-79

It is my debt and I have acknowledge it - its not over 6yrs old.
Yesterday I had a repsonse to my offer saying that they would only reduce by 50% - I have declined and advised I will continue to pay £1 pe month as per my agreement - silly really they could have been rid of me. I refuse to offer anything more. I wil try one of my other creditors. :mad:0 -
£1 per month for 398 months then!0

I can always try again in 3-6 months :rotfl:0
