And £3.50 for 2 wasn't going through the till - trip to Customer services, miserable person eventually coughed up £1 (2 x 50p) while speaking to me in an accusatory tone...

So, poor offer, apparently a mistake online, might work for today only, but not instore. Oddly they also had 24 of something else (can't remember the brand) for £7, which is cheaper than normal, but not a particularly good deal.

the tesco metro in cheltenham had signs up saying 4 for 3.50 but went through at 2 for 3.50 so if you can find the signs anywhere you can get DTD as well. was half asleep this morning so forgot and queired it at checkout so just got the 4 for 3.50

Sadly coming through my on-line order ... after they have checked stock as 4 for £7.00 but thanks anyway op would have been a fab bargain

I got 24 packs and paid £42.00

Overcharged by £21.00 Refund of £42.00 DTD

So I got 40 packs free

SEL said 4 for £3.50
Yet the multibuy should read 2 for £3.50

Sadly SEL in our Tesco said £3.50 for 2, so tried it anyway just in case - then got charged £4 for 2 anyway, as above.

What I need is some shoddy in-store signage...

I am just back in and this offer is still wrongly advertised in stores - out of my 4 local stores i managed to get this dtd offer in 3 of them.

perhaps not worth the journey if you are any distance from a store but i was out anyway and worth the extra drive....mind you the last store were sneakily trying to avoid the dtd by refunding and reselling at the 4for£3.50 offer but were unable to do it :rotfl:

I went this morning to the Newton Aycliffe store and got this deal, well eventually!

SEL clearly stating 4x4 packs for #3.50, so I got 4 packs, but they scanned through as 2 for #3.50. Got DTD though, so all good!

Went to Coulby Newham signs said 4x4pack for £3.50.
Was quite happy to pay that price. Bought 4 natural and 4 white which is a good price should have been £7.00 charged £14.00 DTD so got 32 toilet rolls for FREE thanks !!!!!!!!!!!
