SAR and 40 Day Limit

Today marks 40 days since my SAR request to Barclaycard and Natwest CC (Marbles responded 10 days ago)

Anyway, give tehm a quick ring - Barclaycard cant see the request (did i sebd it to correct address) - yes. They try to ring dept. dealing with it, but they're busy (am i suprised?) - they going to call me back in couple of days

Natwest - didnt know what an SAR was - when i explained i wanted information for the last six years - did you enlclose £10 - is this to rteclaim charges or just information (so much for not knowing) Anyway, again there appears to be no notes of the request.

SO - do i give them a couple of days grace now I have phoned them, OR just go hammer and tong and write letters to the commissioner (i think this wou;d be the next step now?)

Did you send requests by a method that means it has to be signed for?

If not, start again at day one...

Thanks SBC - how do i go about this?

Also, one did mention "the correct address" - is this really essential as log as it was sent to a registered address, ie with barclaycard sent to churchill place rather than northampton?
