Yates Tesco Deals Help?

I'm 30 on Saturday & was going to go out for a nice meal at a chinese restaurant.
Then go somewhere after to drink. So was going to convert some Tesco vouchers to Yates deals.
Just to clarify, can these be spent on alchol without dining. Do I give the cashier a wad of £40 deals & have it as a tab until we've drunk it all? Or do they come in smaller demoniations unlike MFI.
Can I really just drink £40's worth without paying any cash?
Any help really appreciated urgently, as going to order online tonight, if I know I can drink for free.

Ours were in quite small amounts, I think £5s but no more than £10s.0

When we used ours we ordered drinks with a meal and were able to use them for the drinks but I think I remember seeing that they couldnt be used for drinks only.....ADOPT DONT SHOP......🐕🐕🐕🐕0

Yeah that is my understanding. We always order a couple of rounds of drinks when we order food and never have a problem but I have never been able to use them just for drinks.3 kids(DS1 6 Nov, DS2 8 Feb, DS3 24 Dec) a hubby and two cats - I love to save every penny I can!

I used to use these a lot and my local Yates would take them at the time of payment as long as there was food on the bill. So we would order starters and a round and use vouchers, then order the main meal and more drinks to last us. All my vouchers were in £10 denominations.
Have they stopped offering them now for new requests as Yates don't show on the Tesco deals page anymore?

For a minute I thought not another one dropping out so went to the Deals page and clicked on Restaurants and Bars and Yates is still there. We visited quite a few last year and thought they were good value. Drinks were included in the deal at the one in Margate but I think we had to pay for them separately in Shrewsbury.0

Thank goodness...I've just checked as well and they are there yet when I looked at the weekend I couldn't see Yates anywhere

Guess I will be paying cash for drinks then, as really don't want to eat their as a birthday meal.
I will keep OH deals for something else, mine have gone on a bathroom suite.
