Signed off sick but had message from boss wanting to talk work

Hi
I'm not sure if this is the place to post but my brain is in a bit of a pickle, I'm on my own and I don't know what to do.
I'm currently signed off work due abdominal pains that are under investigation and stress. I have just had a text from my boss saying they want to know a good time to call this afternoon to go over my work and what is outstanding for an event I was organising that is coming up in 2 weeks time.
I feel bad in that I know someone is having to pick up my work and that I've left noting to help with a hand over or anything. I really don't want the event to fail, but on the other hand I'm struggling to get my head round what is happening with my health let alone work.
I now feel sick at the thought of having to talk work with her and I'm worried I'm going to be asked to log in from home and do things.
I figure I've got to take the call but I just don't know what to do or how to cope

I dont think you need to worry here. They are not trying to get you in to do the work sick. They just want to know what you have done so far etc so that someone elses can pick your workload up in an informed way. What Would Bill Buchanan Do?0

Yep looks like quite an understanding boss who's got the same goals as you - to make the event happen. Bottom line is you don't have to login from anywhere, but as a professional I'd make every effort to hand over the details.0

You don't have to talk to them at all if you don't want to. You're signed off, and if you choose to help, you are doing them a favour, and are also close to a line which you don't want to cross. Logging in would cross that line. A short chat just to say where things are probably doesn't.
It's up to you though - don't take the call if you feel you're not up to it.0 -
All you have to do is tell them where you are upto. As a good employee I would guess you would at least want to do this much.0

Sounds like they want to help out and get someone to cover while you are off, so need to know what you have that needs to be done. A person can't do the work if they don't know what they should do.
You said you are worried they will ask you to log on from home.... why?0
