Where is best to sell tickets?

Hi Everyone,

I have some tickets to sell for a concert that I can't unfortunately attend due to being 35 weeks pregnant with twins!

Can anyone help me with the best way to do this? Would Ebay be the easiest option? I have looked at Seatwave but don't really understand how it works and it seems that they want to charge me £24.00 to sell the tickets.

If anyone has any advice I would be grateful.

I've sold tickets a few times on ebay without a problem - just make sure you post special delivery as AFAIK that is the only way they are insured.

Personally I never show a picture of the tickets and just list the block and row, as I have heard that people have had their tickets cancelled from listing pics/too much info. I usually get the seating plan of ticketmaster and use this as the pic instead.

Never used any other ticket sites, as normally too short notice for me to chance it, but hope that helps.

I've used both ebay and seatwave to sell in the past. Found both are OK - the main factor for me has been when is the concert. Seatwave listings last until the ticket is sold (or not as the case may be) whereas ebay listings are for a fixed period. So with ebay you may have to pay more than once to list if they dont sell the first time.

Charges can be high with both seatwave and ebay. seatwave will charge you a commission based on the selling price, ebay charge a listing fee plus 10% of the selling price and then there is a paypal fee if they are paid through paypal.

I would check on both to see what prices are being paid at the moment and then work out where you will get the best deal

I have sold tickets on Gumtree before. means you don't have to pay Ebay and Paypal fees.
