Arggh, i replied but it timed out on the post and lost the text.
Here is a summary.
Norwich Union and L&G have reduced charges on higher fund values so that should be considered when making annual contributions.
Service: NU are slow but accurate. IFAs will still be dealing with UK employees but there is some doubt over NU customer contact. NU stakeholder dept will not provide valuations or info over the phone. Standard Life over the best service out of those three.
Stakeholder/Personal Pensions are discretionary trusts so the death benefit (value of fund on date of death) will be paid outside of the estate to the nominated beneficiary (subject to trustees approval).I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
