Thanks for this! I went to my local Claire's today and picked up £79 worth of stuff for a fiver (including 4 curling tongs, BaByliss ones which were £10 each). When I got to the till the girl said my stuff wasn't included in the 10 for £5 sale. I pointed out the small print on the graphic which said basically that all sale stuff was included and she told me that they'd just used an old graphic until the new ones came. I argued the toss, she went to get the manager who said it was ok this time (too right it was!) and promptly removed the graphic. So the moral of the story is be quick, if you can catch a store with the old graphics they have to honour it.0

I often do this at the claires outlet stores - usually get about £60-70 worth of stuff for £5 in perfect as new condition..

No they dont.....they gave you goodwill but essentially until they take your cash, they dont have to accept your offer to buy.xxbutterflygirlxx wrote:So the moral of the story is be quick, if you can catch a store with the old graphics they have to honour it.illegitimi non carborundum0 -
Ok, sorry, should have said they have to honour it or refuse to sell you the goods.0

Went in today, but the stuff on the first post had 1/2 price tickets on. The stuff that was 10 for £5 was pretty poor, a few hair bobbles, hair bands and earings. I'm pleased some of you grabbed a bargain or 9.0

Thanks homealone! I went to Kilburn today & they had lots of scarves & toe socks. Didn't need any scarves so I bought 10 pairs of socks for £5. That's 50p a pair!
They also had a lot of purses, earings, necklaces & diaries but they were quite unattractive.0
