Morning All,
I am sure that I am not the only one struggling with the pennies this year. One cheep option is to give a friend or loved one a 'survival kit'. Just choose from the following items, add pretty labels and put in a bag/box. Asda sell 19p small/medium gift bags.
Bag- To help you keep it all together
Balloon - because you encourage me to reach for the sky
BALLOON - To remind you not to blow up B
andage - To remind you of healing, perhaps of hurt feelings...your own and other peoples
Plaster - For healing hurt feelings or to help a friend who needs mending.
Battery - To give you extra energy when you are drained so you can keep going and going and going and going
Bin bag - to throw away all the hurts, negatives, grudges, frustrations, and keep the good thoughts
Blue M&Ms or Skittles - Generic Viagra
Buttons - To help button your lip when its the best strategy
Candle - To remind you to share your light with others as there is light at the end of the tunnel, so you are never in the dark.
Card - "Loving, laughing and learning" - the three L's are more important than the three R's
Choc Covered Raisins (Animal Poop) - so you know what not to step in
Chocolate Roll - to help complaints "roll" off your back and remind you to roll with the punches.
Kit Kat - for all the breaks you will need C
lock - to remind you that children grow up too fast
Coin - so you can never say you're broke
Confetti -To celebrate your joys of life, remind you to have fun and add some sparkle.
Cotton Ball - For the rough roads, seek the cushioned support of family and friends
Cotton Ball -- for times when you can't hear yourself think
Do Not Disturb Sign - to remind you that you need time to yourself
Eraser - Because we all make mistakes and can learn from them. To remind you that everyday you can start with a clean slate and erase any mistakes or misunderstandings that are troubling you. Googly Eyes - To help you see the good in others
Flower - In the "garden of life" each friendship and relationship is beautiful and unique.
Googly Eyes - So you can keep an eye on everyone
Gum - To give you that "stick to it" attitude
Happy Face - Smiling not only increases your face value,but is also contagious.

Thread - For when you reach the end of your rope - this will keep you going a bit longer.
Velcro-for when you need to get grip!
Pin - to help you pin point your problems
Playing card - raising and educating children is a gamble

Puzzle Piece - to remind you that you are an important piece in the journey of your child

Sandpaper - To help you file away the rough spots of life.
Skittles - in case it rains, you can provide your own rainbow
Small Smooth Stone - To remind you that rough times help refine and polish...use for smoother tomorrows.
Smartie - To help you on those days when you don't feel smart
Snickers - To remind you that laughter is the best medicine
Sponge - to soak up all the knowledge and the rain if need be.
Spoon - for those you have to "spoon feed"
Star- To remind you to shine and always try your best whilst reflecting your inner beauty. If you reach for them you will never fall short
STARBURST - To give you a burst of energy on the days you don't have any
String - To tie things together when everything falls apart
Tape - To fix things that will not work

Tea bag - To calm, relax, soothe away the tensions and count your blessings

Tissue - To mop up the blood if need be..

Toothpick - Pick the good qualities in everyone including yourself.
Toothpick - to remember not to be too picky about your work just relax and do it.
Toothpicks - to help prop your eyes open so you don't fall asleep
Gob Stopper - to remind you not to bite off more than you can chew.
Whistle - for when you've fallen over (alchoholism or old age) and you can't get up
Perfect Man/Woman - Taken from the best Christmas gifts under a fiver (Has anyone found an equally amusing poem for a perfect woman?)
A very personal present for not an awful lot of money but if you choose more than a couple of items each start printing labels now!
