Looking forward to hearing about your progress. Maybe post your SOA, others may be able to see areas you could cut back on?
I find it keeps me relatively on the straight and narrow to have the diary where I own up to all of my debts, spending habits etc. In real life, I don't have many friends that are close enough to confide that sort of information to and so being able to say how I feel on here is a great relief and keeps me motivated

Loving the canteen/moneybox idea mmmm. I tend to use our canteen for a meal and then have a snack at home lasagne and chips or a roast is £3 so cheap BUT a sandwich from my house would be cheper but then evening meal more money then mmmmm i am thinking.........
Oh and welcome even though you have been around a while x0 -
It's totally doable if you just budget on everything! My family of 3 (we have a 2 year old) manage to live off of £30 a week shopping these days. that includes nappies too! I am in no debt, but we are saving for a deposit so we are trying to budget to save just as if we were paying off a 20,000 loan but it's a 20,000 deposit to save for! good luck and look forward to reading your diary x
Goals: Save £500 for emergencies, Save £200 of Amazon vouchers for Xmas, fix my holey clothes!
