Overdraft Advice

Hi all,
I currently have a planned overdraft of £1200, and have used it all. I currently get around £1150 a month from work. My monthly outgoings for bills/travel to and from work/food etc amounts to around £600 give or take a few tenners.

I really want to get out of my overdraft completely. The thing is, i'm quite young and enjoy going out with friends and socialising. Add to this driving lessons and phone costs and you can see where the money has gone. I would like to account for a few nights out a month as that's the only real way I socialise at the moment.

Any advice is appreciated.

If your outgoings were really around £600 then you wouldn't be maxed out on your overdraft; you'd easily be able to cover these outgoings with your current incomings.
You need to do a full soa using the one on www.makesenseofcards.com and see exactly where all your money is going.
Then the fabulous people on here can give you great advise where you can make cutbacks so you can pay off this overdraft and before you get in any more debt
