500 Tesco Clubcard Points - Open an Internet Saver Account

Hello.
I have received a Clubcard booklet in the post today, with various bonus point offers.
One of them was 500 bonus points for opening an Internet Saver account. Open an account between 21 Nov and 4 Jan - have a cleared balance of £1k on 4 Jan, then the bonus points apply.
A lot of money required just to get 500 points (plus a low interest rate), but you only need to have the money in the account on 4 Jan to qualify. Just clear the account after that date.

I'm just a bit cautious as there is no promotion code to enter, so I will call the Clubcard line in the morning to check whether a promotional code is required.
I have already called Tesco Bank to check and they think the bonus points are automatically allocated - should be in the February statement.
Cheers.
