Can i get a container for wrapping paper??

I am looking for a tube thing to put all my wrapping paper in. I have only seen this on QVC and it is a tenner plus four quid postage, i just want something to keep it all nice and neat and i can see easily what i have.

Have you thought of a hanging suit carrier some of these have a clear panel and then you just hang it in the wardrobe out of the way.

Tesco had some last week in the Christmas clearance bit, I use the box that my haul of rolls of wrapping paper came in last January, you might get one if you ask at a supermarket, they must get through several a week.

I use a wrapping paper carrier bag that you get when buying rolls of paper, you can get a couple of rolls it, then i hang it inside my wardrobe door, with a roll of sticky tape, my kids use them as lightsabours so this keeps their sticky mits off.

Thanks for the idea btw! I've been using a gift wrap carrier bag but it's seen better days, think I'm going to have a go at making my own
  • Hi

How about using an old pillowcase, the larger the better, it may not look as good as some of the shop bought bags but at least it will keep all the wrap in one place and dust free.

I use a "large" underbed storage box from Instore, fits rolls of paper easily. Cost £6.

For rolls of giftwrap I'd suggest a old poster tube.

  • You could probably make one like the lakeland one fairly easily. I've got the Betterware one which I thought was great until it split under the zip. i could probably patch it up with tape of some sort.
