Hey,
I was just wondering, how often are credit reports updated because I cancelled two cards about a week ago and the report still says they have balances.
Thanks,
Matt

I thought it was monthly but depended on when the bank etc actually gives that information and how long it takes the credit agency to enter the information??
Could be wrong.
When I was put on electoral roll it took one of the credit agencies over 3 weeks after receiving the updated roll from the council to actually update my file.Newlywed at the point I joined the forum... now newly separated0 -
I was under the impression they were updated monthly too, so could be up to 4 weeks for the changes to show on your file.

is monthly, but date depends on bank / when agreement was taken ..... it could really be upated in two weeks - ie bank updates end of month and balance was cleared in middle of monthNo Longer works for MBNA as of August 2010 - redundancy money will be nice though.
