Bad credit mortgages

Hello,

I have bad credit wiwth 2 outstanding debt which I hope to pay off. My otherhalf has changed jobs twice within the last year.

We are coming into a 100K inheritance in approx 8 weeks time and of course want to buy our own home.

I am concerned about having bad credit and ending up with a mortgage from a not so reputable comapny.

Does anyone have any recommendations of lenders who deal with people with not so good credit, and has anyone had experience of them? I am hoping because we have a big deposit it should help swing things for us!

xx
Debt Status 20/10/06

Lloyds TSB (w/debt recovery co) £828
Halifax Loan £1100  (paying £70/month)
Need a mortgage now, arrrrgh!

:T Proud to be dealing with my debts:T

There are lots of good deals available to people with bad credit and you have the advantage of a good deposit. Contact a good fees free whole of market broker who will be able to place the mortgage without obtaining multiple credit checks.

You will really need advice for this to make sure you are not ripped off, make sure you don't pay a fee for the advice or you may be ripped off.

Depending on your actual scenario, and details of teh adverse credit you may be able to get a high street name as opposed to a specialist adverse lender.

Have a word with a fee free whole of market adviser armed with your credit file and let them do the research for you.
