Wedding Venue Advice - South Down

Out of those it would be the Burrendale. Hands down.

I eat in the Whistledown on Saturday night. Food was good. But not enough of it. Last time I was there it was not up to much!

How about Canal Court?

The burrendale unfortunately doesn't have the availability, but our dates are still semi flexible so we'll see

Perhaps you'll learn that whilst its postal address is in Newry, Cloghogue is actually in the County of Armagh. (As is nearly half of Newry itself!)

Daughter has just booked Hugh Mc Canns in Newcastle. Very reasonably priced compared to others.

Depending on how many people you're having - I had my wedding party in The Bank in Newry -(we got married in New York so just had a party when we got back) it was a buffet and honestly the food was flipping gorgeous!! And amazingly affordable. We had ours in the function room - we had 120 people. Then my brother got married two years later and had 150 people so they had their meal in the Vault - it was great! The food in the Bank is always good and the service was spot on. Newry golf club is pretty good too - have been to quite a few function there but would def say The Bank was head and shoulder above for yumminess. The funtion room on the first floor has really lovely natural light too - look out over the canal towards the Town Hall - highly recommended!

They may have done. They had a wedding fare a few weeks ago we went to it. A neighbour of ours had their reception there a few months ago and they said they couldn`t find fault in it for anything. Check out their reviews online.
