No Student ID required for Microsoft Software at software4students. It does say all licensees' must be qualified education users though as long as you're not ordering adobe products you should be able to order either of the following for £38.49 + £1.95 transaction fee for the digital download whether you're a student or not:

Incidentally, software4students don't require an academic email address either.

Microsoft Windows 7 Professional 32-bit Upgrade Edition

or

Microsoft Windows 7 Professional 64-bit Upgrade Edition

Compatibility: Vista/XP pre-installed.

* Please note that an upgrade from Windows 7 is not possible and that this product is not compatible with MAC OS.


Format: Official DVD or Download (Product Key on back of media or emailed with download)


Installation:***Downloaded image files must be burned to a DVD.


Usage: Installation upgrade on 1 computer


Licensing Restriction:
Eligible customers allowed to buy ONE licence per Microsoft product for each eligible student.

Operating System: A previous operating system (Windows XP or Windows Vista with latest Service Pack) is required for this upgrade product. Please note that an upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 7 is only possible if the Anytime Upgrade (available to purchase from Microsoft) is purchased.

This product isn't compatible with MAC operating systems.
