AAAGGGHHH Moorcroft!!!!!

So im STILL trying to sort out an old T-Mobile debt that had been passed over to moorcroft. I posted the other day as i didnt know who i was meant to pay as still receive letters from t-mobile with balance etc (its my boyfriends debt but i sort it!)
anyway he spoke to them and asked for a statement of affairs as they said over the phone that he had only ever paid £80 over 3 years!!! this is ridiculous as he has paid about £250 AT LEAST! im tryin to find out exactly how much from old statements and stuff, but we had a letter from them in october last year which showed upto then he had paid £150 and he has paid £10 a month still!
The debt started as £220 so we obviously think we have paid the debt yet the balance is still £240.15! how can we dispute the debt as when we have tried to do this before we recieved court papers!!!
any advice would be amazing!!! x

How is the debt £240.15 when you say that it only started as £220? How were the payments made, do you have receipts/bank statements showing the payments?
EDIT: Just seen your other post when you say you have been paying Moorcroft. You need to send them proof of your payments, either photocopies of receipts or bank statements.

They are mugging you, tell them to go to court, where they will have to PROVE the debt is owed and put down some paper work.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0

In that case you should have transactions showing on your bank statements. Send these to Moorcroft as proof of payment.

tmobile are a pain in the butt, they will try and say payments have not been received by their agencys. Same agency it happend to a friend I know also. If you have online banking do a transaction searchDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

well today received a letter from moorcroft which is exactly the same stating iv paid £80 to them! i had asked them for a full breakdown of how and when and how much balance was at start but again this isnt on the letter, thru our new bank account iv found some payments made to them by debit card and boyfriend is on phone to old bank now trying to get statements but can i just send them a letter saying i dispute the debt?
he phoned them today and the lady said no uv only ever paid £80 even tho he told them we have proof here that we have paid AT LEAST £275 to them! she said she was putting boyfriend on hold and cut him off! x0
